Since 1986, my theatre music has been heard in many venues, including Classic Stage Company, The Guthrie Theater, The Shakespeare Theatre Company, The Kennedy Center, Manhattan Theatre Club, Denver Center Theatre Company, Red Bull Theater, The Wilma Theater, Old Globe Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
Concert works I have composed include chamber music, pieces for voice and piano, and an oboe concerto for Richard Woodhams, principal oboist of the Philadelphia Orchestra. These works have been commissioned by the 21st Century Consort, Network for New Music, Orchestra 2001, The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society and the American Composers Forum.
Grants from The McKnight Foundation, The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, The Independence Foundation, The Philadelphia Music Project, The Presser Foundation, The Henson Foundation and ASCAP have also supported my work.
